ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS
At Concordia University Wisconsin, we seek candidates for our online doctoral programs who demonstrate strong leadership potential, academic aptitude, and a commitment to advancing in their field. Below are the general admission requirements for our Doctor of Business Administration (DBA), PhD in Business Administration, and Doctorate in Leadership in Innovation and Continuous Improvement programs.
Admission Requirements for the Online Doctor of Business Administration (DBA)
To be considered for admission into our online DBA program, candidates must provide the following:
- Official transcripts from the accredited institution where you earned your master’s degree
- Current resume or CV
- Academic writing sample (such as work from your recent master’s program)
- Participate in a brief video-conference interview
- Proof of English proficiency (for applicants whose primary language is not English)
Admissions decisions are made on a rolling basis throughout the year. For summer semester enrollment, all application materials must be submitted by May 15. For spring semester enrollment, materials must be received by November 15. Early submission is encouraged, as cohort sizes are limited.

To be considered for admission into our online PhD/EdD in Leadership in Innovation and Continuous Improvement
- Official copies of transcripts from graduate-level work (bachelor’s transcripts are not required)
- Scholarly writing sample (graduate thesis/capstone paper preferred).
- Current resume
- Essay (less than two pages) explaining interest and qualifications for the program, specifically addressing concepts of innovation and continuous improvement
